Burger Bowls are a bunless take on a classic burger, featuring seasoned ground beef served over crisp lettuce with fresh toppings and creamy burger sauce.
1 pound ground beef (80/20)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 cups chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 avocado, sliced (optional)
For the Sauce:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon pickle juice
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add ground beef.
Break apart and cook until browned, about 6 to 8 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce and cook 1 minute more.
Drain excess grease and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk sauce ingredients together.
Divide lettuce among bowls.
Top with warm beef and desired toppings.
Drizzle sauce over each bowl and serve immediately.
