450 g (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
240 ml (1 cup) BBQ sauce
3 tablespoons honey
480 ml (2 cups) chicken broth
240 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
340 g (12 oz) dry pasta (penne or rotini)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
100 g (1 cup) shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken, salt, and pepper, and cook until lightly browned.
Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Stir in BBQ sauce, honey, chicken broth, and cream.
Season with smoked paprika and onion powder, then add pasta.
