A hearty one pan meal featuring tender steak bites and cheese tortellini in a rich, savory sauce that is perfect for weeknights or gatherings.

Ingredients

·         Beef sirloin steak, cubed – 450 g (1 lb)

·         Cheese tortellini – 500 g (18 oz)

·         Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

·         Unsalted butter – 2 tablespoons

·         Garlic, minced – 4 cloves

·         Onion, chopped – 1 medium

·         Heavy cream – 240 ml (1 cup)

·         Beef broth – 240 ml (1 cup)

·         Parmesan cheese, grated – 60 g (½ cup)

·         Salt – 1 teaspoon

·         Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

·         Paprika – 1 teaspoon

·         Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon

·         Fresh parsley – 2 tablespoons

Instructions

1.      Sear seasoned steak bites in olive oil until browned, then remove from pan.

2.      Sauté onion in butter and oil, then add garlic.

3.      Pour in beef broth and cream, simmer gently.

4.      Add tortellini and cook until tender.

5.      Return steak to pan, add Parmesan, and stir to combine.

6.      Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
